Private Satellite Program

We offer two different possible programs for our high school students.  You can choose to homeschool entirely for high school (Track One) or you can choose to participate in our hybrid program that allows you to enroll in two or more classes on campus at Western Christian High School (Track Two), in order to take advantage of their impressive academic, athletic or musical programs as well as having the benefits of a homeschool education.

Track One:  

Enrollment fee $30.00 per student - Payable to Western Christian School

Family fee $520.00 per year - Payable to Western Christian School

Program fee $50.00 per year - Payable to Center for Creative Learning (CCL)

 (all should be paid through PSP director, Marilyn Stephens)

Optional testing fee (talk to Mrs. Loumagne for amount) per student-due October 1 (Includes PLAN, EXPLORE, or PSAT testing in the fall and Terra Nova testing in the spring. All high school testing takes place on the Upland campus.)

Requirements:

General Education Course of Study:

    260 credits which include all state requirements plus 40 units of Bible.

Paperwork required includes Four Year Plan and Course Descriptions (due October 1), Lesson Plans and Semester Grades (due February 15 and June 15), and Attendance Record (due June 15).

Western Christian provides: transcripts, diploma, record keeping, support group and ASB-sponsored activities, optional Center for Creative Learning courses, Park Day coaches, legal covering, monthly PSP newsletter.

Track Two: (On campus part-time - 2 classes required)

Enrollment & Program fees per student, plus tuition per on-campus class:

(contact WCHS campus for current fees for on-campus courses and any separate sports or other fees)

Family fee $520.00 per year - Payable to Western Christian PSP

Program fee $50.00 per year - Payable to Center for Creative Learning (CCL)

(registration fee to Campus and tuition to BOTH Campus and PSP are required!)

Paperwork required includes Four Year Plan and Course Descriptions (due October 1), Lesson Plan and Semester Grades (due February 15 and June 15), and Attendance Record (due June 15).  NOTE: Parents may be required to turn in quarterly report cards -- be prepared.

Student uniforms required.

Application paperwork and interview required for new students.

Western Christian provides: complete access to on campus activities and classes, college counseling, transcripts, diploma, testing, CIF sports, optional Center for Creative Learning courses, support group and ASB-sponsored activities, Park Day coaches, legal covering, monthly PSP newsletter, Quarterly Western Wire newsletter.
